Influence of International Criminal Court through the Perspective of Legal Universalism and Relativism

Abstract: The article explains establishment of International Criminal Court and compares roots of political conduct causing violent conflicts. The following part analyzes process with Thomas Lubanga as the first person condemned by International Criminal Court and accused of mass violation of human rights. Further it deals with accusation of Omar al-Bashir from crimes against humanity. The conclusion emphasizes structural context and importance of international law for evaluation of the dictators.
