Case management in civil procedure – economic models and possibilities of their application in Czech civil procedure

Abstract: The article focuses on distinguishing selected models of civil procedure derived from economic thinking with the aim to define their benefit for efficient case management. These economic models are then applied to Czech civil procedure and its selected institutes in order to present the conclusions of the application as de lege lata proposals for civil procedural law. In this article, the principles of a new legislation are likewise proposed based on the case management approach reflecting these economic models.
