Public Servant as an Aid Worker in the Light of De Lege Ferenda Suggestions

Jurisprudence 2/2018 Section: Discussion Page: 38–44

Keywords: volunteer, aid services, employee

Abstract: This article deals with the chosen shortcomings of the Act on Aid Services. Although the legislator was not able to accomplish the proposal on a new Aid Act, there is narrow space for widening of the volunteers’ potential by collective agreements even if they are state servants or work in civil service. The suggested strategy can enhance providers and aid workers; a solution desirable for the specific Czech legal situation where we can easily identify a few obstacles for a boom of aid services.
